Bartender - Fine Dining

Alfred's Steakhouse since 1928, an iconic San Francisco steakhouse, is opening in November and hiring a new team!  

Alfred's is hiring a quick, friendly, witty Bartender to provide a great experience for our guests.  Open nightly in the Financial District, this 140-seat restaurant caters to upscale diners with a taste for excellent food and a decadent ambience.  With decades in the business, we bring old-style San Francisco nostalgia and comfort to our guests.

The ideal Bartender is adept at working quickly to provide a variety of cocktails, wine and beverages.  Must have at least 2 years of experience as a Bartender, be inventory conscious, orderly and able to think quickly and prioritize.  Must be professional, upbeat and apolitical in discussions with guests and the ability to discuss sports and a variety of topics is a huge plus.  As this is a dynamic role, being able to creatively and positively resolve problems in a non-confrontational manner is critical.  Must have experience using POS systems and handling cash.

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, or telephone. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10-25 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
